Welcome
The fundamental purpose of centering prayer…is to contribute to bringing the knowledge and experience of God’s love into the general consciousness of the human family. …Contemplative prayer is a process of interior transformation, a conversion initiated by God and leading, if we consent, to divine union. …[It] is a fundamental constituent of human nature and hence available to every human being. It is accessed by letting go of our own idea of ourselves, turning our will over to God, and resting in the Divine Indwelling that is already present within us and waiting to reveal itself to us.

The Contemplative Values of Silence, Solitude, Solidarity, Service
June 14, 2025, 10am to noon.
The Contemplative Values of Silence, Solitude, Solidarity, Service presented online by Fr. Carl Arico.
The inspiration of the Holy Spirit bestowed in Centering Prayer or any contemplative practice, may express one or more of the following Contemplative Values of Silence, Solitude, Simplicity, and Service. The practice of Centering Prayer establishes a permanent abiding state of union with God, which is then manifested by a deeper silence that morphs into Presence, a yearning for solitude, a simplicity that is childlike and a generosity that is deeper than just doing good for another.
Contemplative Outreach is 40 years old, and this has been the experience of the elders or the grandparents of the movement.
Come join us to explore these values, these living values. Contact Us to obtain Zoom link.
